About

I am an ecologist and visual artist by trade, currently in a transition period when I orientate my work and research towards urban design, planning, and landscape architecture.

I believe that my multidisciplinary approach helps to provide more effective support for architects and planners and develop a common language and practices, especially within large-scale development projects.

Since the pandemic started, in the last three years, I developed ecological restoration projects particularly based on my own surveys in Suffolk, Cornwall and Dorset.

My fieldwork aimed to make an inventory and a database of derelict areas, such as former military bases like Orford Ness, and former quarries in Portland areas.

In the next stage, I spent 1 year attending the Eden Project land ecological restoration course.  Was a valuable experience to gather more knowledge for my future projects, related to retrofitting existing derelict areas, buildings, and industrial heritage architecture, and re-integrate them into public zones of interest.

As a scientist, I tend to create spatial representations and geolocate them. Mapping is the native geographer's visual tool to associate spatial coordinates for everything:  natural phenomena, people, items, artefacts or events.  The Architects produce a habitable space based on a given natural context delivered by the Earth Sciences. If that is not enough, Philosophy as the crown holder among sciences creates mind mapping where both physical and metaphysical universes coexist. A complete framework

MAPPING  is an instrument to correlate data and create a spatial representation of reality.  We can extrapolate it into the METAVERSE as part of our day-to-day life, the physical world expands on multiple levels according to what we want to explore and illustrate.

We learned in the past from the Greek philosophers the concept of METAPHYSICS.  Our consciences might grow and identify in the future as a virtual entity, able to break the physical constraints cohabitate and evolve in the virtual space.

The notions of SPACE  and PLACE  gain new meaning and significance. Some people might find this scenario dangerous, interfering in metaspace the human consciousness with Artificial intelligence.

I have no fear of exploring these boundaries, having the confidence of the CREATOR. Everything we create we may use as extensions of our minds
